We Wish You a Bon Voyage...
Well, after the disappointing way the show ended.

This is a fitting way to end it. That last image of Lorelai and Rory with Kevin going to the diner to meet Luke and Ellie with "There She Goes" playing.

It seems appropriate, even as the show did end on a decent but not-so-great way. After all, there's closure and fulfillment.

Lorelai has everything now. A new house, a baby, the best husband any woman can get, a dog, and the best job she can have. Not to mention supportive, proud parents who can still annoy her.

Rory did the right thing in the end. She already has everything and to go for more wouldn't seem right. Now she has a great job and a great boyfriend. What more could she want at this moment.

The stuff with Michel and Target was hilarious as was Lorelai trying to go up to her balcony. The troubadour leaving was sad. I'm going to miss all of the characters. I wonder what Kirk and Lulu will have, Orville or Tabitha.

This is the best way to go and I think the last perfect image is for all of those characters who had been on the series or this version of the series give a bow and we the fans bow back.

Until there's a serious chance for that GG movie that's going around. Thank you for the stories.

Wonderful! I have throughly enjoyed reading. Now I feel like GG is done. Sad, but good way to go.

fabulous guys. It all ran so seamlessly. I loved the town meeting as you all mentioned some of the songs Troubie had sang over the years.
Hee, Luke wanting to make sure Ellie is okay, what a great dad. And she got them good, halfway to walking already.

Loved them trying to get into the mansion and you mentioning again stuff from the show, luggage, dogs, the pool table. Nice details.

The girls' night out was funny as the boys were texting them, and I like how Kevin kept track of them all with his descriptions.

Everyone is going to be just fine. Thanks guys.

Thank you for an amazing ride :)

I truly enjoyed every episode and loved the ending with "There She Goes" playing, just like in the pilot.

You all are amazing.

Congradulations to all of the writers(past and present) who contributed to giving us 3 more years of Gilmore Girls. It was a joyous ride yall took us on and gave us back the characters we came to know and love after a disappointed season 6 and 7. Its sad because it truely is over. The final curtain has been closed. Its just amazing the time, dedication, and committment yall had put into bringing us episodes of Gilmore Girls from week to week. I have laughed and I have cried. I have said this before and I will say it again, the writers on this project clearly know these characters as if yall created them yourselves. I also enjoy reading the pop culture references you shout out in the dialogues, because it wouldn't be Gilmore Girls without them.

Let me beging with Luke and Lorelai. Majority of Gilmore Girl fans were rooting for this couple and yall wrote what we all wanted to see that we didn't actually see onscreen. It was a slow gradual process of getting them back together and back to a place where a future of a middle was strong possiablity. We got to see them FINALLY get married and have a baby. Lorelai got her whole package!
Of course season 10 was about letting us Luke and Lorelai having it all. (marriage and baby)Its been a real treat to watch Luke and Lorelai with baby Ellie. Thank you for this. I couldnt stop laughing with Luke being so serious with getting Ellie to crawl. Such an overprotective and worried father, but it just warms me to see interacting with Ellie and being a dad. There is so many things he is going to teach that little girl. She is going to be daddy's little girl, I know that for sure.

I got to say I couldn't stop giggling when Luke and Lorelai were sneeking into the Gilmore's mansion to retreieve Rory's baby book. Oh and Emily's reaction was great as well. I am sure Luke is going to be one to write down all of Ellie's daily developments in her baby book. Lorelai might be the one to decorate the book, but Luke will be in charage of keeping up to tabs with Ellie. I can just picture that right now.

It was refreshing to see old friends colliding with new friends. Paris,Lane, and Rory hardly all hung out together. Liked all the texting going on. Poor Kevin, having to hang out with Doyle, Gil, Zach. Cettaintly a group of interesting people. I think they should all get together more often. Boston is a great town, but nothing beats Stars Hollow.

I was relieved and happy that Rory decided not to take the job. Her dreams may have changed, but not neccesarily for the worst. She already has the perfect job and a great boyfriend. She doesn't need to travel all over the world in order to be a journalist. She is content with Kevin and I am thrilled for them. They compliment each other so well.

Oh Michel, quite a character. Who doesn't love Michel? He is annoying, that is for sure, but he can't live without Lorelai and Sookie and neither can they. Working at Target? Now that is hilarious! I like the way he became parthners with Sookie and Lorelai at the Inn. The Inn wouldnt run without him. I was bit surprised Lorelai was listed under Gilmore and not Danes on the plague. Oh well, just one small minor detail.

Onto the town troubudar. Love the music and the town gathering for his send off. Nice touch with the music and the candles. I liked how you included all of the townies including the Reverend, Liz,and TJ.

Oh I like how at the end the final converstation was with Lorelai and Rory as should be. Perfect! Great send off to mother and daughter. That is the perfect final scene, have everyone gather in the diner.

I know I rambled on quite a bit, but I had so much to say. As I was reading, and noticed that the ending was near I was tearing up a little bit. Its really over. Well, the good news is I get to read it all again so techincally it can live on forever! THANK YOU again for giving us a happy conclusion to an amazing show!

I almost forgot.

Can't we at least have ocassional one-off episodes?

Like a Xmas episode or Halloween?

Re: Oh...
Seconded! That would be cool.
Mar. 10th, 2010 04:59 am (UTC)
You all have been wonderful for giving us three more years of Gilmore Girls. You've taken a great show that had too many plotholes and made it even better.

And the image of Michel in a Target uniform - and then in no uniform - priceless.)

Thank you!

sad so sad...

I haven't reviewed consistently, but have been reading from the beginning, and want to thank you for the 54 episodes. Hard to believe it's been three years! I've really enjoyed having something to look forward to on my Wednesday lunch break, and will miss reading about all things Stars Hollow. Guess now I'll have to go back and reread the series.

I also want to commend you for making Kevin, and Kevin and Rory's relationship, so real. It's often very hard to bring in new characters into an already established world, let along set up a new relationship, and you all did a great job on both accounts.

I was very glad to have Rory stay in Stars Hollow. For awhile there, I thought she was going to take the job, and I was thinking, "But wait, she has such a nice life right now - why would she want to change anything?" Glad you all though the same thing.

I guess my only regret is that we won't get to "see" the birth of Kirk and Lulu's child. That sure would be something. I agree with the above commenter - if y'all ever get the urge, it'd be great to have some occasional one-offs.

Thanks again, guys! It's been fun!

Thank you so much for putting the time and effort into Virtual Gilmore that you have. I think you ended the series at the right place and you developed all of the relationships that needed developing. If a Gilmore Girls movie ever happens, I'll find it hard to accept the plot line because you guys have provided me with my post-S7 Gilmore-ness and truly filled the void left by that season.

Go Gilmore!

I couldn't agree more. :)

Thank you guys very much, it was great reading these stories and it helped to get over the crap that was season 7.
Mar. 15th, 2010 08:08 pm (UTC)
i'm soo Sad that it's over. I loved all of this. I just found this online a couple months ago. I've read every episode. I'm bummed now because it's again over like it was on the DVD's. Hope you re-consider & continue!!! Thanks Again!!!! I Love Gilmore Girls!
Mar. 22nd, 2010 06:07 pm (UTC)
Great way to end. Thanks for all of the episodes. I'm currently off on maternity, and have been watching the repeats on ABC Family. I realized the other day when they aired the "last" episode that I'd forgotten where the show had officially stopped. I think that speaks volumes for the work you all have done, that the storyline and characters have stayed consistent and continued on so seamlessly. Kudos!

Sad to see it go but i am so glad you all took on this project and decided to give Gilmore Girls the ending it deserved. If you all ever get the inkling to write again remember that we'll be here...ready to read!
Thanks again. it was truly wonderful!

Epi 10.10
Well, I guess all good things must come to an end. Very nice ending. I feel fulfilled. Luke and Lorelai have a little genius daughter on their hands (Not everyone needs to crawl before they walk!), Rory has found a great guy and is going to be living close to home, and Lorelai and Rory’s relationship is still going strong. Simple ending but still very nice. I really liked the inclusion of Paris and Doyle, as well as Lane and Zach.

You guys put so much time and hard work into these 54 ‘episodes’. Though I didn’t read all postings on time, I did read, enjoy, and appreciate each installment. You all gave us a much better ending than the one we got in May ’07. If the actual episodes weren’t engraved in my head, I know for a fact that eventually, it’d be hard to remember where the real show left off and the virtual season began. This work is just that good.

Excellent send-off to one of the best shows ever. To all the writers: Thank you so much.

The last episode
Why did you stop?! I want to know what happens with Kevin and Rory! Do they get married? Do they eventually get pregnant and buy a house or something? Does Lorelai get pregnant again or anything? How's Ellie gonna grow up?! Will she turn out like Rory? So many questions are left unanswered! Please pick up the writing again!

I have to admit its quite remarkable that you have come up with all of them and shared them will us the ideas are amazing, and i love gilmore girls and i was hurt and so sad when they ended it in season 7 but you have truely brought gilmore girls back to our hearts again! I think the ideas and story lines are well brilliant, fabulous, amazing and truely outstanding! you people deserve a medal wow just brill. I thought about what would have happened next after the last episode in season 7 and they are no way as good as your ideas you have brought gilmore girls back into our lives and hearts and for that we are amazed and truely thankful!! :) :)

Would love to see a season 11, and Logan to come back into the picture.

GG, the Movie from danakayn@yahoo.com
I see this show wrapping up with a movie--planning the Gilmore/Danes wedding when Rory's campaign tour is over. She is home to help her mom plan and Jess comes in town to help his uncle as best man. Dean, of course, still lives there with a constrcution company, but not married. Logan also decides to come back to see and pursue Rory to see if their relationship still has a chance. All the quirky town and family drama over their favorite couple getting married would be entertaining enoug, but add this to Rory's triangle of former beaus and maybe even a new one from the campaign trail thrown in. What will she decide?????

Great. Seasons guys
I wish that rory an Logan got back together though they were such a great couple it would have been cool if they got married

Just found this site...
I've been a Gilmore Girls fan for years...I was so excited when I found this site...I love reading the virtual episodes...thank you to the authors who invested so much time and effort into this project. Only on the second episode in season 8, but I am immensely enjoying it. Excellent writing and witty dialogue...true Gilmore style. I have to admit, I'm sad to learn it ends in Season 10...selfish, I know, but to me there's no such thing as a good thing. Thank you again to all those who made this project possible. I look forward to not only being a GG fan, but a VGG fan. Thank yall!

p.s. Have any thoughts been put into printing these works in a book format? I know I would be interested in owning a copy of the work. Thank you!
